Costa Rice closes down unproven Stem Cell treatments

While there are patients claiming success with the treatments, using adult "master" stem cells, the type which show a lot more promise scientifically than embryonic stem cells (harvested from the corpses of aborted babies, sometimes conceived to create the cells), Costa Rica has closed down a clinic offering alleged treatment of certain serious diseases, not due to a bad success rate, but until such time as the treatment is proven. Costa Rica, like some South African firms, has enough medical expertise, to have created a market of medical treatment tourism, unlike the South African firms, which work overseas, Costa Rican firms, attract visitors by offering much cheaper treatments. Much as South Africa has plastic surgery tourism, Costa Rica has much more beneficial tourism, however, the offering of the Master Cells treatment before USA FDA approval and placebo trials, shows just one weakness, and the need for research.
