Is Justin Bieber a misogynist?

Catch a bad girl by her toe, and throw her if she holla- if she shouts, talks?- okay that part is by Sean Kingston, but the Justin Bieber Lyrics are also the sort which treats women as stupid, prey or objects. And it is all part of one song.

He wants it so she gets him to show her "paradise"- vain much, and for her to give him the "night" to "hold" her. Is he talking of dancing here, is he really? He says "Shawty is a eenie meenie miney mo lover "! Where I come from "lover" only has one meaning.

I hated Justin Bieber from the start- not enough to get the anti-Bieber browser application, but I think he devalues women for money, and helps the system which hates women and looks down on them. One only need see his music videos to see what this single parent, Canadian Dream (America) kid looks up to and values.

Either way- this song mistreats women, but most of these American (note the word) songs do.

I don't think a woman waiting is "waste[wasting] my [his] time", or a woman "[making] make up your [her] mind" is a bad thing.

Perfect example why child labour should be banned in America like it is in much of the rest of the world. Biebers are created, and souls are lost!

I wonder how many Bieber fans will take becoming an object to their male friends now that he says it is all right, by him: and his playa lyrics !?

You hurt me, so what: Ignorance- Paramore

There is the alleged topless picture twitter fiasco which anyone could get. If I used my specialized journalistic methods, I am sure I could dig the grave further, and find things and prove them which shock, but I am not doing an expose' on Paramore.

And it isn't because I like their music, I sometimes do, and they put effort into making videos which are not too boring and aren't all sex violence and partial nudity, something which does make me respect them more.

What I want to note is simple- someone hurt the Paramore singer or writer long ago, her music reeks of that. Most musicians, we can see their flaws, weaknesses and vices in what they say and do. Unfortunately, while art lets out the emotions, if it does not seek also to uplift, to bring to heaven after hell- often it perpetuates pain in artist, and in listener.

When I write I try to write to the deepest depths of hell, and then lift the reader to the highest heights of heaven. Most artists only try to do one or other, and thus they fail. Granted, sometimes I like to listen to Paramore! p.s. a paramour is an illicit sexual lover in case one wanted to know what that word means!

State Terrorism? Anti-Abortion meeting bombed in Kenya

The government wants to introduce legalized abortion in Kenya, with the pressure of the US president Barack Obama behind the state. Now Five people have been killed and 75 injured, as a meeting of religious leaders, politicians and ordinary Kenyans was bombed in Kenya, the meeting opposed the Constitution Obama and Kenya's leaders have fronted. Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga, seems to slam anyone who suggests that his government is responsible for any alleged state terrorism, saying:

"“We don’t know as yet the cause of this incident, we therefore do not want to get involved in speculation. At the moment all the efforts should be directed at helping those who have been wounded, those who have been seriously injured.”"
~Quoted by Euronews.

How he got to power is itself controversial.

Minority groups such as ethnic Asians/Indians are often targeted for violence by the population in Kenya since violence broke out 2 years ago.

There has also been a lot of attention on allegations that the Kenyan government recently eliminated many people including opponents via state sponsored, and police death squadrons.

The response of the Prime Minister seems to be a denial of any involvement he may well have had in this bombing.

SA police used violence against legitimate protesters?

If true, then this AP story as edited by SAPA is shocking. Protesters claim they were offered R1,500 a day but got R190 a day to be stewards for the world cup stadium in Durban, and were unable to get home due to poor transportation. R1,500 is not what anyone would get for being a steward, but tricking the foolish is hardly becoming if FIFA did so, people quit their jobs for higher wages at times. Point? The police were allegedly set on the protsters, sure it was likely an illegal strike as strikes need state permission to be held, but this seems like excessive force by police who are not mentioned as warning the crowd to disperse, and tear gas them says the Associated Press.

Granted, putting concrete blocks into the streets of Durban outside the stadium is disruptive, but one hardly sees this alleged response when ANC allies COSATU disrupt roads in terrible ways. Under Zuma, this cup seems hardly as organized as those held by previous administrations in the ANC regime. Allowing Vuvuzelas which are proven to cause loss of hearing, the noise pollution everywhere, the unimpressive opening ceremony, and now these alleged protesters, who for some reason thought they were earning rates not befitting their low employment. I wonder if they will be compensated for going deaf after long exposure to Vuvuzela sounds? This will be a world cup many won't forget- but not for the reasons the government would suggest. E.g. children off school, while their parents work, human and drug trafficking, tourists who go home with HIV/AIDS. Or the many road deaths.
